3rd Armored Field Artillery Bn (Belgium)

The 3rd Armored Field Artillery Battalion (3rd AFA) was commanded by Major General (then: Lieutenant-Colonel) George Ruhlen. His unit was involved in the follow-up actions after the German encirclement of Bastogne was broken on December 26, 1944. Previously, the 3rd AFA was in Luxembourg and was one of the units hit first when the Battle of the Bulge started.

This tour follows the route of his unit (3rd AFA Bn) after they had pulled back from Luxembourg and regrouped.
