35th Infantry Division

Part one of a series dedicated to the 35th Infantry Division “Santa Fé”, part of General Patton’s Third Army.

On December 26, 1944, the 35th Division moved from Metz to the area north of Arlon along the Belgium-Luxembourg border. Here it was to assist in the Third Army’s drive into the south flank of the German salient.
